Curl up by a roaring fire and wrap yourself in our Woodside Fair Isle festive blanket knit with The Croft Aran, spun in Yorkshire from 100% Shetland Islands wool.
Located 100 miles off the northeastern coast of Scotland, the Shetland Islands boast a chilly climate and a lot of sheep whose diet consists of salt-misted grass, heather and the occasional seaweed. For generations, Shetland sheep have been noted for their very soft and well-crimped fleece, while at the same time being strong and durable.
- 100% Shetland Islands wool
- 166m (182yds) per 100g hank
- 18 sts & 24 rows on 5mm/US size 8 needle
- Machine wash at 30°. Do not spin. Do not tumble dry. Reshape while damp.
Kit contains 15 100g hanks of The Croft Aran: 6 x Stanydale, 4 x Raewick and 5 x Sullom.
